Life on the Homestead

Welcome to Maple♥Fen

Maple♥Fen is our real-life little farm in Western New York. It is not a Pinterest fantasy. It is mud, snow, maple sap, stubborn animals, and God showing up in the middle of all of it.

We raise chickens for eggs and meat, keep bees for honey, grow herbs for teas and tinctures, and keep an old red truck around that has way too many opinions about the weather. Some days everything works. Some days the rooster decides he is in charge. We film and share both.

Here on this page you will eventually find stories from the farm, seasonal projects, wins and failures, and the things we are learning about health, food, and faith as we go. Think of it as our long-form journal: fewer filters, more reality, and plenty of miracles tucked into the mess.
